DORTMUND, GERMANY—  Cimpress parent company of VistaPrint, has taken majority stake in W2P software provider CloudLab. Cimpress has used CloudLab since 2018, and the two firms formed a strategic partnership in 2022, with Cimpress taking a minority stake at that time. CloudLab claims to be “the global benchmark in web-to-print”. The firm’s product range includes PrintQ, PackQ, and marketing automation platform BrandQ. It offers customers tailor-made solutions. CloudLab’s tech is used by a host of companies that compete with  Cimpress, including FlyerAlarm and Saxoprint. The two firms emphasized that CloudLab will remain independent. CloudLab currently employs more than 80 across five locations worldwide. Its customer base spans SME digital printing businesses to large multinational corporations. Cimpress owns Vistaprint, Print Brothers and National Pen.
