Hemlock Installs New Canon and Kongsberg In Wide-Format Plant

 Hemlock has invested in new technology to expand capacity and streamline production. Recent additions include the Canon Texas LT/X2 flatbed printer and the Kongsberg C64 digital cutter with i-BF60 V2 automated feeder and stacker, enabling greater efficiency and precision across a wide range of applications.

The facility’s new Canon Colorado M5 introduces advanced finishing capabilities previously unavailable without additional coatings, including roll-to-roll white ink, spot gloss without the use of varnish, raised textures, and layered printing, ideal for double-sided window decals and backlit graphics.Fine art printing is further supported by upgraded Epson Sure Colour P20570 technology, delivering highly accurate, richly nuanced colour across twelve ink channels, including orange, green, and violet. Hemlock just recently moved it's Wide-Format operation to the original 14,000 location that Hemlock Printers started in. Hemlock Printers is over 50 years old is one of the largest commercial printers in the Pacific Northwest . Operating from an 80,000 square foot facility in Burnaby, BC with sales offices in Seattle and San Francisco. Hemlock was listed as Canada's 38th largest printer by Graphic Monthly .
