Aben Graphics Goes Up In Flames
HUNTSVILLE, ONTARIO—

Early on January 26th an electrical fire destroyed most of Aben Graphics plant. Aben had a 40" four colour, several Quickmasters , digital presses, wide formate and a full bindery. Most equipment suffered sever smoke, water damage and will have to be replaced. Aben was started in 1976 and moved to their current location in 2001 is currently operating remotely.Phones lines have been diverted and they are working with trade printers to keep looking after customers.

All the staff are still on the payroll and are on standby while the company figures what to do next.  They owned the building and are evaluating rebuilding or renting  are a new location. They have said they plan to get back up and running one way or another. Customers have been understanding and the local community has been very supportive offering free moving , electrical work.
