 Imprimerie Gauvin has filed for creditor protection owing over $11.5 million. Over $5.5 million is owed to the Government of Quebec. The Royal Bank is owed $1.5 million. In April 2025 they installed $6.6 million in inkjet equipment including an HP Pagewide T250 and Indigo 7K. Reason given for the investment was The threat of customs tariffs on all Canadian exports to the U.S., it is necessary to invest in productivity.

 In 1977 Imprimerie Gauvin started specializes in the production of softcover books, in short and medium runs, and on demand. The company started in 1892 sells to publishers in Canada and the US. Over 90% of Gauvin's sales are from book printing. Equipment includes high-end digital printing, and offset printing.
