The Colorado M-Traffic is a 1.6m (64-inch) roll-to-roll printer. It  is designed to produce regulated and non-regulated traffic signage, while it is equipped with new UVgel 540-R inks developed to meet traffic sign standards and safety regulations. The inks allow for seven key traffic colours using a CMYK inkset, to help traffic signage producers "achieve consistent and accurate output, when combined with appropriate materials and processing steps".

The UVgel technology brings together advantages traditionally associated with multiple ink platforms, including broad colour capability, strong lightfastness, productive print speeds and long-temperature gel-curing, as well as enabling colour consistency and reduced odour emissions during operation. Compatible with designated 3M reflective media and can be connected to the SAi FlexiComplete 3M Traffic Edition software, to ensure a “standards-aligned” production workflow. The machine has been built for high-volume environments, capable of printing two 50m rolls per shift, with the option for unattended overnight printing of an additional 50m roll in suitable facilities.
