COTEAU-DU-LAC, QUEBEC—  Imprimerie Multiplus, recently installed three Versafire digital presses – its first digital investments with HEIDELBERG. Controlled via the Prinect Digital Frontend (DFE), the presses were selected as part of a strategic effort to better align digital and offset production. Multiplus utilizes Prinect to colour manage both its HEIDELBERG Speedmaster presses and Versafire digital presses, ensuring consistent results when running jobs for the same customer across different printing technologies. The company can efficiently produce both short and long runs on a wide range of substrates – from lightweight paper to 24-point stock and synthetics – using either its digital or offset presses.
