TORONTO—  Supremex Inc. has announced the acquisition of Goldrich Printpak Inc., a provider of folding carton packaging solutions located in the Greater Toronto Area. The transaction  approximately $34.0 million. Founded in 1953 and employing approximately 90 people, Goldrich operates a 68,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Toronto, Ontario. Its offering consists primarily of folding carton packaging, mainly for the food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics sectors. For its last fiscal year, Goldrich generated sales of approximately $30.0 million. Equipment incudes offset, digital,embossing, die cutting and foil stamping.  “The acquisition of Goldrich is a defining moment in Supremex’s transformation into a diversified North American leader in paper-based packaging and marks a cornerstone in the execution of our growth strategy,” said Stewart Emerson, President and CEO of Supremex. Supremex operates eleven manufacturing facilities across four provinces in Canada and six manufacturing facilities in four states in the United States employing over 1,000 people. Supremex was listed as Canada's 12th largest printer by Graphic Monthly .
