Marquis Montmagny Installs A CoBo-Stack MBO.
MONTMAGNY QUéBEC.—
Marquis Imprimeur Montmagny,has installed a CoBo-Stack MBO. The MBO CoBo-Stack is a “cobot”, a collaborative robot that operates without a protective cage. Stacks of products, for example folded notebooks, are transported between the exit and the table of the CoBo-Stack. There, the cobot takes the piles and places them on pallets. This relieves the operator of any physical work and saves employee fatigue.
Komcan is the Canadian dealer for Komori and MBO.

Marquis Imprimeur Montmagny, is a book printer specializing in print runs of 1 to 2,000 copies. Marquis has offset, digital and inkjet equipment. They serve the publishers of comic book, educational , University and Business documents markets. With capacity to produce 100 million books a year with combined plants of over 500,000 sq. Ft. and 600 employees. Marquis was acquired by Lakeside Book Company a division of LSC Communications in June of 2023.
