Four Printing Companies Receiving Funds From Government Amid U.S.Tariff War
GREATER TORONTO AREA—
Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced a combined investment of nearly $26 million to support 31 Greater Toronto Area businesses and organizations as they respond to tariff-related pressures, strengthen domestic supply chains, and position themselves for long-term growth.

1) ICON Digital Productions Inc.
To modernize operations through the adoption of advanced printing and workflow technologies. Founded in 1995 in Markham, ICON Digital Productions Inc. specializes in large-format printing, display graphics, and digital signage solutions. To strengthen competitiveness by modernizing operations through the adoption of digital technologies.
Total Project Cost $2,896,420,Ontario Funding Contribution-$1,303,389.
2)PakFactory Inc.
To strengthen competitiveness by modernizing operations through the adoption of digital technologies.Founded in 2015 in Markham, PakFactory Inc. provides custom packaging solutions and packaging design services for businesses across North America.Total Project Cost $2,850,000, Ontario Funding Contribution-$1,603,125.
3)Pulp Moulded Products Inc.
To strengthen competitiveness and increase production capacity through the installation of a new production line and automated pressing cell.Founded in 2008 in Newmarket, and now based in Keswick, Pulp Moulded Products Inc. manufactures sustainable moulded-fibre packaging from recycled fibre for electronics, food, consumer and industrial applications.Total Project Cost $3,643,000, Ontario Funding Contribution- $1,500,000.
4)SinaLite
To support the addition of new equipment to enhance resilience and facilitate access to new markets. Founded in 1999 in Markham, SinaLite is a wholesale printing company that provides commercial printing, packaging, and large-format printing services across North America. Total Project Cost $3,827,639, Ontario Funding Contribution- $2,870,729.
