Earle O’Born To Receive The Fraser Institute Founders' Award
TORONTO—
Earle O'Born the founder & chairman of The Printing House (TPH) on November 8th will be receiving the Fraser Institute's Founders' Award. TPH has matured into the largest privately-owned branch network across Canada, with more than 70 centres nationwide. His entrepreneurial spirit and business success have led him to multiple awards, including the Management Achievement Award from McGill University, the Prime Minister’s Volunteer Award and Graphic Monthly's Printer of the Year Award in 2007.
Earle O’Born has demonstrated remarkable philanthropic dedication through the TPH Charitable Office, which he formed with his wife Janice to “help others, help themselves.” TPH Charitable Office has raised over $83 million for various charities across Canada. Earle and Janice’s corporate giving programs have been recognized with the Outstanding Philanthropists Award by the Children’s Circle of Care Woodmark Group, the CIBC "Spirit of Leadership" Community Award, and they were the first Honorary Patrons of the Music Alive Program.

The "staff" are "encouraged" to make a donation from their pay cheques - so it's not just him and his wife - the entire staff make a large contribution.
