MOSTEL, BEIGIUM—  Agfa Offset division sold to private equity group Aurelius has been rebrand  ECO3 . The ECO3 name was already in use connected to the firm’s technology approach focused on ecology, economy and extra convenience. The business employs around 1,600 people across more than 30 countries. It had sales of $856 million last year. The ECO3 brand slogan is ‘You print. We care.’ ECO3 has plate manufacturing sites in Germany, South America and China. It sells around 95m square metres of plates worldwide and lays claim to a market-leading position in plates in Europe and Latin America. Its product range also includes an increasingly significant range of software and workflow tools, along with CTP systems, graphic arts film, proofing and chemicals. It's major competitors world wide are Fujifilm and Kodak. ECO3 distribution and employees in Canada remain the same as under Agfa.
