HemlockHarling Buys Datex Services
RICHMOND ' B.C.—
Hemlock Harling Distribution Inc., announced the acquisition of Datex Services Ltd. of Richmond BC. Datex was founded in 1969 and has served the BC marketplace with mailing services for over 50 years. Stormer Yttri, President at Datex, Perry Jongsma, VP Operations and Adrian Bartel, Data Technician, will be joining the Hemlock Harling team . A key aspect of the acquisition will be Hemlock Harling’s transition of its print and mail services from its current location to the nearby Datex mailing facility.
Following facility renovations, the move is expected to be completed by Spring/Summer 2022. This 10,000 square foot facility will support data management, digital printing, inkjetting, inserting, polybagging and other core mailing services. The move will also enable Hemlock Harling to dedicate its primary 40,000 square foot location to a rapidly growing eCommerce fulfillment, pick and pack and publication distribution service offering.
