Printing Course for Homeless Youth
TORONTO—
This comprehensive eight-week training program introduces young people to pillars of the graphics industry, including computer graphics, offset printing, digital imaging and binding, along with training in soft skills such as time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, planning, and communications. Students are assisted with employment mentoring, career opportunities, internships, and ongoing support.
At our on-site print shop and studio, young people experiencing homelessness learn practical skills in digital print technologies and graphic design. Eva’s Graphic Communication and Print Training Program helps students overcome barriers to employment and access entry-level jobs and further educational opportunities, which ultimately enables them to secure housing and transition to independent living.
