Post Media Closing Calgary Plant.

Goss Metro press shutting down at Calgary plant
 Post Media will be closing the Calgary printing plant at the end of July. Twenty six full time staff and twenty six part time workers will be laid off. The Calgary Sun a Post Media daily newspaper will be printed by Black Press Group. Other Post Media newspaper printed at the Calgary plant will be moved to other Post Media printing plants.

The Calgary Herald also owned by Post Media was outsourced to Transcontinental in 2013. The Goss Metro ( double width with 22 3/4 cut off)  at the Calgary plant will either be sold off or taken apart for parts.Post Media now has printing plants left in Toronto, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ottawa.
