Positive shipments trend holds in 2013
OTTAWA—Statistics Canada has revised its previous printing shipments data and, since December 2012, has also stopped including numbers from British Columbia.
So while the official numbers are down, the picture gets brighter when you take into account a potential added $50 million a month from BC, in line with the upward swing reported throughout 2012.
Here are the monthly printing shipments (in millions) for 2013 so far.
Year-to-date numbers are also steady, with $2,308,424 posted for 2013 compared to $2,426,640 in 2012, for a change of -.48%.
