Universal Printing shuts down
INGERSOLL, ON—Universal Printing filed for bankruptcy on April 30 and is in the process of liquidation.

Sale of the company's assets will be handled by BDO Canada. According to a BDO Canada rep, a creditor meeting will be held Friday, May 17.


Universal Printing has filed for bankruptcy

Universal Printing offered digital colour printing, large-format display, custom die-cutting, bindery and fulfillment services and more. It began as a small storefront founded by Michael Straw in 1979 and was purchased by Scott Kean in 2008 after Straw retired.
