Hemlock Printers in B.C. appoints new president
BURNABY, BC—
Hemlock Printers in Burnaby, B.C. has announced the appointment of Richard Kouwenhoven as president and general manager.
This marks a change for Dick Kouwenhoven, Hemlock’s founder and long time president, who will assume the role of chairman and chief executive officer.
"Richard has been actively involved in the printing industry for over 20 years and has had a lifelong association with Hemlock," reads a release.
Over the past 12 years, Richard has worked in a number of roles, including estimator, production coordinator and digital print services manager. He was most recently in the role of senior vice president of customer service.
“I am proud to work for and contribute to a great company – one with a rich history for outstanding quality, technological innovation and community involvement. The culture at Hemlock is the reason I choose a career here and continues to be my source for inspiration within the business. I’m excited to carry on these important traditions for our continued success," he said.
Hemlock Printers is one of the largest commercial printers in the Pacific Northwest. Along with a production facility in Burnaby, B.C. that operates 100% carbon neutral, it has offices in Victoria,
Seattle and San Francisco.
