SUSSEX, WIS. AND MONTRÉAL—Quad/Graphics  and Worldcolor Press  have announced their respective shareholders have approved the agreement for Quad/Graphics  to acquire Worldcolor.

At a special meeting of Worldcolor shareholders in Toronto, approximately 92% of votes cast were in favour of the special resolution authorizing the agreement, according to a company press release.

The purchase of Worldcolor by Quad/Graphics remains subject to the approval of the Québec Superior Court and other customary closing conditions. A hearing in respect to the final order approving the arrangement is scheduled to take place today. If the final order is granted and all other conditions of the sale are satisfied or waived it is expected the arrangement will be completed on July 2.
