Solisco acquires Tri-Graphic Printing
SCOTT, QC—Solisco Printers yesterday closed a deal to purchase Ottawa-based Tri-Graphic Printing Ltd. for an undisclosed sum. Tri-Graphic’s book printing operations were what attracted the buyer, according to Patrick Masset, vice president of business development for Solisco and now GM for Tri-Graphic.
Solisco, a company with presses in Quebec City, Scott, and Sainte-Marie, was founded in 1991 and has more than 500 employees.
Masset said that there will likely be some “redundancy” with regards to employees, but added that Tri-Graphic will “mostly…remain fully operational.”
Tri-Graphic will also maintain its brand identity, Masset said, and run as a division of Solisco.
