Trade Watch: Printing deficit now at $144.1 million
OTTAWA—Both printing exports and imports declined in June, according to the latest figures from Statistics Canada, with exports settling at $76.5 million, the lowest level of recent years and down 22.3% from 2008. Imports also dipped slightly to $103.2, resulting in a trade deficit of $144.1 million compared to a deficit of almost $6 million for the same January-to-June period in 2008.
