Magazine readership in Canada solid
TORONTO—Magazine readership is steady in Canada, according to a recent report by the Print Measurement Bureau (PMB).
Overall, total national readership was down about 3%, but some publications, such as Canadian Geographic, saw it’s total readership rise 8.6% over last year.
At 6.5 million, Reader's Digest continues to hold the largest overall readership in the country, followed by Canadian Living with a readership of 3.9 million. However many magazines, like Canadian House and Home and Maclean’s experienced drops in readership compared to 2008.
PMB is a Toronto-based non-profit organization that represents Canadian publishers, advertisers and agencies.
