—  Vivid Laminating Technologies has launch a new reel-to-reel digital foiling system. The company’s new Matrix FoiLabel is said to make premium label embellishment more accessible for all label printers. The device, which is additional to the Vivid portfolio, can foil and laminate reel-to-reel and efficiently take up waste from label stock. It can accommodate substrates up to 370mm wide. Vivid said the new capabilities make it easier for digital printers to add premium metallic finishes and special effects to label substrates, without the high costs traditionally associated with foiling.
