TORONTO—  The landlord locked the doors last Friday. The last payrol was not cleared .  Canadian Printing Resources was bought by Michael Hothi of Trico Packaging & Print Solutions of Ottawa in April of 2023 . Michael also bought Maracle Press os Oshawa in 2024. Trico filed for backruptcy in June of this year and Maracle is has been closed as of a week ago. CPR was started in 1985 by Joe Fiorillo the company had up to a staff of 35 and a 28,000 sq. ft. plant. Sales where in the $6 to $8 million range.  CPR was a  commercial printer who also did trade work. Largest press was a 40' 8 colour Komori, two Diddie webs, die-cutter and 5 Jet envelope presses. Some of the assets of Canadian Printing Resources had been moved to Oshawa . If and when  a receiver will be appointed is not known. The major creditor is Scotia Bank the same as for Trico in Ottawa.
