Roland DG Expands VersaStudio Line

Roland DG has added two new models to its VersaStudio range of compact printers. The BN2-30 eco-solvent integrated printer/cutter with a maximum printing width of 29 inches , and the BD-12 UV direct-to-object printer for items up to letter size, both feature vibrant, detailed printing, plus work areas expanded over current models, to enable increased productivity and profitability.The BN2-30 can be used for the creation of graphics, photos, and text in any desired shape.
The printer is compact enough to be operated in a limited space “yet combines excellent quality and productivity to quickly produce a wide variety of items, from original t-shirt graphic transfers, stickers and labels to posters and uniquely shaped displays”. The BD-12 UV flatbed printer, meanwhile, is capable of high-definition direct printing on a variety of objects and materials. It supports items up to 81/2 x 11 (A4) size and (102mm) in thickness. The machine can also print on cylindrical objects using the optional rotary axis. Its EUV5 ink is compatible with numerous materials, from soft goods like fabric and leather to hard goods like wood and plastics. Glass and metal can also be printed on using the primer ink. A gloss ink option produces premium gloss or matt finishes and realistic textures including 3D embossed effects.
