15.2sqm/hr in standard mode for eight-colour PVC and 22.5sqm/hr in standard mode for four-colour PVC. The XG-640 uses new GBL-free TR3 ink to deliver rich, vivid colour in a wide colour gamut, with a choice of ink configurations up to eight colours. White ink printing is three times faster and 1.3 times denser than the TrueVis VG3, which Roland DG said delivered “excellent opacity” for window graphics and base coats. The device features the True Rich Color print setting that Roland DG said optimises its potential to create realistic graphics that combine vivid colours with neutral greys, smooth gradations, and natural skin tones.
