—  Epson print wing benefits from increased printhead demand.Epson said that commercial and industrial inkjet revenue and business profit “grew sharply owing to expanded demand for printheads used in textile and other applications”. Full-year profits at Epson have exceeded expectations on the back of positive exchange rates and a boom in sales of some of its products. For the year to 31 March 2025 sales were up 3.7% at just under ¥1,363bn, while business profit increased from ¥64.7bn to ¥89.5bn. At its Commercial & Industrial Printing division, which includes a contribution from Fiery since its £445m acquisition at the end of last year, sales were up 11.9% at ¥299.7bn.
