BEIJING, CHINA—  Koenig & Bauer has reported boost from the 11th China Print (Beijing International Printing Exhibition ). A booth spanning over 10,000 sq. Ft., Koenig & Bauer presented a large portion of its product portfolio from the areas of Press, Postpress, and Digitalisation, under the motto ‘More choices, More agility, More efficiency’. Highlights included live production on a Rapida 105with eight printing units and coating equipment, as well as inkjet prints from the VariJet 106 digital folding carton press. During China Print, orders for a large number of new sheetfed offset presses were received across all formats, the company added. The event, which attracted 221,500 international trade visitors, took place from 15-19 May and, despite a challenging market environment, the German press manufacturer said it had surpassed its own expectations.
