Gauvin Installs $6.6 million in Inkjet Equipment
GATINEAU, QUEBEC—
Imprimerie Gauvin has installed a full ink-jet colour printing line with highly automated finishing, as well as install new complementary production equipment. Governments of Quebec and Canada invest $4.14M to help Imprimerie Gauvin increase its productivity. The threat of customs tariffs on all Canadian exports to the U.S., it is more necessary than ever to invest in the productivity of small, medium-sized and large businesses.
In 1977 Imprimerie Gauvin started specializes in the production of softcover books, in short and medium runs, and on demand. The company sells to publishers in Canada and the US. Over 90% of Gauvin's sales are from book printing. Equipment includes high-end digital printing, and offset printing. With 125 years of experience, Imprimerie Gauvin boasts extensive expertise and technologies adapted to today's book market.
