Canon has boosted the productivity and performance features of its Arizona 1300 flatbed printer series with the addition of FLXflow technology. The new FLXflow offers the  ‘Hold’ functionality, which helps to hold media on the zoneless flatbed table with a patented airflow technique, as well as the new optional ‘Float’ and ‘Instant Switch’ functionalities to improve media handling.

The Float functionality pushes air from the table upwards to create a cushion, enabling the easy positioning of heavy or challenging substrates and reducing the risk of media damage or waste. Advanced Image Layout Controls allow for last minute adjustments at the printer, including snap and align image to media, auto-trimming, nesting, batching of complex jobs, step and repeat, pitch setting, mirroring, and re-assignment of print modes. Existing users of the Arizona 1300 series with Flow technology are able to upgrade.
