STERLING, VA—  The Board of Directors of the National Print and Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) announce the election of David Dawson, owner of Instant Print and Promo of Chatham, Ontario as a Director at Large.“Being a print owner wasn’t a “longtime dream,” but when I graduated, an opportunity came up within the business. I took a little while, but I now love the business and the industry and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else,” says Dawson, who makes history becoming the first Director from Canada to serve on the NPSOA Board. Dawson is a second-generation print owner. His father started the business in 1978. The National Print & Sign Owners Association delivers through advocacy, educational programs, publications, research, and the sharing of technical information. It serves a broad audience involved in the graphic communications industry, which includes printing and copying firms, and those firms offering mailing services, sign-making and large format printing.
