HP Launches Latex 630 Entry-level Series
PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA—
HP has launched the new HP Latex 630 printer series, which completes its Latex range and makes white ink technology available to print companies of all size. The series includes four printers: the Latex 630 and Latex 630 W, the latter with white ink functionality, plus the Latex 630 and 630 W Print & Cut, which gives customers the option of upgrading to a dual-device system with print and cut functionality.
The machines feature an automated front-loading system and simple, fast load/unload workflows, according to HP, as well as easy reprints, with in-printer storage of up to 10GB, “stunning image quality” with HP Pixel Control Technology, and a new printhead architecture for sharper small text, at standard speeds of 14sqm/hr. An SAi RIP is offered as standard software out of the box. The Latex 630 range is additional to HP's portfolio and has not replaced any existing machines.
