—  The DBM-700 a completely new core to Duplo’s modular system, capable of producing up to 2,000 square-spined booklets per hour. It's available with two or four stitching heads. The square-spined booklets, which give a “perfect-bound look and feel”, according to Duplo, are significantly easier to produce at speed. This higher pace of production is carried over into the machine’s other functions, with a top one-up speed of 4,600 A5 booklets of up to 10 sheets, or 5,200 of 105x200mm booklets of up to five sheets per hour. Two-up speeds can reach as fast as 9,000 booklets per hour, trimmer dependent. While the bookletmaker can be configured with a DBM-700S square spine unit or DBM-700T trimming unit, for now, it will continue using the same ancillary equipment – collating towers and digital feeders – as the DBM-600. This is the successor to its DBM-600 bookletmaker.
