MONTREAL—  Copie Nova a noted downtown printer in Montreal has been bought by Cannon Graphics Solution. The 30 plus year old printer is across from McGill University.  Packed into 2500 sq. ft. with a staff of 5 Copie Nova did work for corporate clients, legal firms, engineers and various faculties at McGill University. With a fleet of Xerox, Canon and Ricoh equipment they do digital printing, posters, banners, drawings and plus graphic design.Former owner Bob Gaudreau is retiring. Cannon Graphic Solutions is made up of The Evolution Group, Copiers Express, Copilab and Editions Repro and Sisca (renamed Cannon Graphic Solutions) . Rick Cannon’s President worked at Sisca as Director of Operations before he bought the company and started building Cannon Graphic Solutions. He has 30 years experience in the printing industry starting as a branch manager.
