Marquis Book Printing Buys GTW
GEORGETOWN, ONTARIO—
Marquis Book Printing has acquired GTW a 57-year-old book distributor operates a Toronto region based warehouse facility. GTW serves some of the largest publishers in North America . Marquis will be adding distribution to its list of services with the acquisition of GTA-based book distributor Georgetown Terminal Warehouses. Georgetown Terminal Warehouses operates an 80,000-square foot facility in Georgetown, Ontario, about 50 km west of Toronto.
Marquis operates three production plants: in Montmagny, Louiseville and Toronto. Marquis also has offices in Montreal and Sherbrooke and sales representation across Canada and the United States. Marquis said the goal of the acquisition is to offer integrated book distribution services to clients. MARQUIS is the largest book manufacturer in Canada and has 550 employees. Marquis Book Printing was listed as Canada's 27th largest printer by Graphic Monthly.
