Joe Dickson went from printing into politics
Joe Dickson former owner of Dickson Printing has died at the age of 82. Dickson Printing was started in 1961 and was a store front printer or called a quick printer at the time. Dickson Printing serviced  the Ajax business community . Run as a family business with both digital and small offset. Dickson Printing sponsored 22 little league sports teams and “countless” local organizations.

Joe Dickson, who was born in Ajax and became known as Mr. Ajax. Joe went into politics and  served on the Ajax Town Council from 1983 to 1990, and then again from 1992 until 2006. He was also a member of Durham’s Regional Council. Joe Dickson represented the riding of Ajax-Pickering as an MPP from 2007 to 2018.
