—  FASTSIGNS  is seeking to fill more than 1,000 jobs available across its  North American network, the sign and graphics franchise announced . To help in the recruitment for workers, the company will host a webinar on Sign Manufacturing Day, Oct. 1, at noon EDT. Titled “Open Your Mind to a Career in Signs,” the virtual event will share information about the various opportunities with the sign industry, including consulting, designing, engineering, producing and installing. Sign Manufacturing Day affords companies in the visual communications arena to promote career opportunities within the industry. This is part of a labour shortage that is becoming apparent in the entire printing industry. More sectors of the industry are struggling to fill positions.
