Hoefler&Co is one of the most iconic names in type design, having designed the fonts that give voice to many of the world’s foremost institutions, publications, causes, and brands. With the acquisition of Hoefler&Co, Monotype will expand its type library to include some of the world’s most popular typefaces including Gotham, Knockout, Mercury, Sentinel, Chronicle, Decimal, and Archer .   Monotype Fonts combines the world’s largest collection of award-winning type, the expertise of the most sought-after foundries and type designers, and trusted and secure font management — all under a single agreement.  The first type foundry ever to be honoured by the National Design Awards at the White House, Hoefler&Co’s typefaces are in the permanent collections of both the Smithsonian Institution and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
