Manroland Sheetfed has reported that orders reached a 10-year-high in June .The Company returned to full production at the beginning of the year  after cancelling short-time workers that had been laid off because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on worldwide markets. Manroland says since the beginning of the year they have  seen an increasing number of orders for both 700 and 900 size presses,

as printers around the world began to regain investment confidence post . Manroland also recruited Bernhard Schaaf, Heidelberg’s former head of large-format presses, with the aim of plugging the “gaping hole” left by Heidelberg's exit from that the over sized offset press  market.

Manroland  said it is anticipating  burgeoning demand for its latest Evolution range of presses.
