KAMLOOPS, B.C.—
Signature Signs & Printing is giving away free orange heart decals to spread the word about the tragedies caused by residential schools. Robb Lewis, said the shop is donating the stickers as a way of honouring the children. “The biggest thing that we want to do is to create awareness, that this did happen and that we want to support those those people as well as much as we could," Lewis said he hopes the community can learn from the tragedies that took place, and prevent it from happening in the future."
The printer is giving the decals to those wanting to show their support with either a "Every Child Matters" or "215" heart sticker for free. Signature Signs and Printing started about four years ago and has four employees. It has digital and wide format equipment.
