SWEDEN—  Ikea the Swedish home furnishings  announced that the 2020 catalogue would the last to be produced in the current style, after nearly 70 years. At its peak in 2016 the catalogue was the biggest print job in the world, with 200m copies printed gravure in 32 languages and with 69 different versions.  Ikea catalogue  print run has reduced considerably in recent years. Last year  and during Covid-19 Ikea’s online retail sales jumped by 45% worldwide. Ikea is the latest retailer to stop printing it's  annual catalogue. Ikea is also planning to publish a special book next year, to “pay tribute the final catalogue’s rich 70 year history”.  With a print run of over 200 million copies in the US, IKEA’s  catalog ranks with the Bible, the Quran, and the Harry Potter series in terms of mass circulation . IKEA reprinted its US 2021 catalog to fix a potentially racist image.
