New HP President & CEO Comes From Imaging & Printing Division

Since 2015, Entique Lores served as President of HP’s Imaging, Printing and Solutions business — sales of over $20 billion for  2018 and has consistently outperformed the company’s printing peer set. The Imaging & Printing division represents 34% of HP's total sales and 59% of earnings . HP has become one of the largest suppliers to the printing industry. At the last Drupa  they had the largest booth even larger than Heidelberg.

Coming from the graphic arts or printing side of HP it will be interesting to see how much focus HP puts on the industry.  Lores  has said he will" continue to reinvent HP’s Print business with a focus on differentiated innovation, business model transformation and strategic M&A — including HP’s acquisition – while also fostering important ecosystem partnerships and demonstrating an industry-leading commitment to sustainable impact and the environment."
