TC Transcontinental Packaging won the Gold for Sustainability (for a second year in a row), Gold for Packaging Excellence and Silver for Technical Innovation at the recent Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards. Its Silver winner, the Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders pouch, is one of the first-in-market, 100 percent recyclable, multi-layer barrier standup pouches.

Transcontinental Canada's largest printer in 2018, acquired Coveris  for $1.32 billion US . Coveris Americas is one of the top ten converters of flexible packaging  in North America .  Coveris  operates 21 production facilities  in the Americas, United Kingdom and Australasia. Coveris  has over 3,100 employees with sales of  $966 million. Transcontinental has been moving  from a commercial printer and publisher into a packaging company.
