Advocate Printing  main plant in Nova Scotia had a fire in it's mailing and distribution area. The fire happened after hours and no staff was in the building. Some of the mailing equipment was damaged and about 20,000 square feet is out of use. Work has been moved elsewhere in the plant. The plant did not miss a beat and all jobs are getting out on time.

One of the staff noticed the fire when driving by. Advocate Printing has 4 plants in Maritimes  and is the largest printer in the Atlantic region with over 300 staff. They have both sheet fed and web presses. They were listed as Canada's 24th largest printer by Graphic Monthly.
