DATA Communications  has recently became the first company in Canada to install the Gallus Labelfire 340 from Heidelberger. Data Communications  one of the country’s biggest label manufacturers. The Gallus Labelfire 340  combines digital printing  with conventional printing and postpress technologies. Developed for the  in short runs, with a speed of 50 meters per minute. 

Resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, the system features inkjet technology with seven colours plus white, combined with three conventional flexographic printing units.

Canada's fourth largest printer

The DATA Group provides marketing and document management for electronic and print media. The Brampton-based company has about 1,400 employees and generates about $313 million in annual revenues. Data Group was listed by Graphic Monthly as Canada's fourth largest printer and is a public company.
