Plastic + Paper celebrates 100 years
CONCORD, ON—Valuing customer relationships never gets old. That’s the philosophy practiced at Plastic+Paper achieving its centennial milestone this year.

There are not that many Canadian companies in the Graphic Arts Industry that celebrate a century of service, so it is a positive indiction that our industry is healthy, and still impacting our lives.

Entering its second century, the company simplified its name from Plastic & Paper Sales Inc and developed a new logo and website.

While the look of Plastic+Paper has changed, its approach to the ever-changing substrate business remains consistent. That idea is echoed by the company’s VP and general manager, Frank Catalfo. When asked the key to Plastic+Paper’s longevity, he answered: “Our depth of experience, combined with an ongoing sense of responsibility to meeting our customers’ high expectations.”

The company was launched as Paper Sales Limited in 1917 at the foot of Yonge Street in Toronto. Through the years, plastics were added to its portfolio, making the renamed Plastic & Paper Sales Inc the leading supplier of paper and plastic in Canada.

While Plastic+Paper is celebrating its history, its eyes are very clearly focused on the future.
