Printing comes to an end at Kennedy Heights
VANCOUVER—Printing has officially come to an end at the Kennedy Heights printing plant in Vancouver, the printer of Postmedia's Vancouver Sun and The Province since it opened in 1997. The Vancouver Sun will now be printed by Transcontinental Printing in accordance with a 5-year deal that was announced last year. The Province will be printed by Black Press Group Ltd. The move has left over 220 employees out of work.

Global news visited the plant on Saturday January 31, its last day, and spoke to staff.
