Manitoba association joins US PIA
WINNIPEG—The Manitoba Print Industry Association has joined the U.S. association, Printing Industries of America. Under the agreement, members of the provincial association will have access to PIA services and resources including economic research, training, award programs, and technical support.
Manitoba is the third Canadian province to establish a formal alliance with PIA. British Columbia Printing Industries Association and the Ontario Printing & Imaging Association are already affiliated with the American association.
According to its website, MPIA claims about 50 industry members, including printers and suppliers. It offers a variety of services to its members, and has partnered with the Province of Manitoba on human resource and training initiatives.
