Fastsigns invests in Canadian growth
CARROLLTON, TX—
Fastsigns is pushing expansion in Canada, building on 2013's momentum with plans to sign 45 more franchise agreements and open 40 new spots in Canada and the U.S in 2015.
The worldwide company, with more than 545 centres in eight countries, signed eight agreements last year for new locations in Canada, including units in Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Alberta.
"We've spent the past 20 years building successful centres and franchise partner relationships throughout Canada, and with this continued growth strategy we're looking to expand on this by growing with new franchise partners in select markets," said a statement from Mark Jameson, executive vice president of franchise support and development.
Along with a search--which Fastsigns announced last year and says is still underway--for a master franchisee in Quebec to oversee the addition of 15 centres, the company also now looks to add co-brand, conversion and new centre partners in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario.
Each Fastsigns location offers marketing and visual communications services including banners, building signs, trade show exhibits and displays, yard signs, vehicle graphics, decals, point-of-purchase signs, posters and more.
