Graphic Monthly wins Canadian Business Press award
TORONTO—Graphic Monthly Canada magazine scooped up a silver writing award for Best Profile of a Person at the KRW Awards, a Canadian Business Press event celebrating business-to-business magazines.

The mag, a sister publication of PrintCAN.com, was awarded for its "Printer of the Year" profile on Jay Mandarino, president of C.J. Graphics, which appeared in the December 2012 edition. In total, the awards program dished out gold and silver prizes in 24 categories with winners chosen from nearly 600 submissions nationwide.

Graphic Monthly Canada was launched in 1980 and covers Canada's printing industry with a circulation of more than 10,000. It has won several awards from the Canadian Business Press over the years, including silvers in 2007 and 2005, and a gold in 2003. This year's 59th annual awards gala was held June 5 in Toronto at the Grand Banking Hall at One King West. For a full list of winners, visit Masthead Online.
