MET Fine Printers buys Larsen's Bookbinding
VANCOUVER—MET Fine Printers has acquired long-time business Larsen's Bookbinding, expanding MET's in-house capabilities.

“This move adds an unparalleled depth of expertise to our group,” said MET's chief operating officer Mike Winteringham. “This level of craft will immediately benefit MET Fine Printers and MET Resource’s clients by adding further technical expertise, speeding up project turnaround and enhancing our client’s experience.”

The printer said the acquisition expands MET's in-house binding capabilities with perfect binding, saddle stitching, traditional and custom case binding.

MET's vice president of branding, Scott Gray, said MET is bringing in all of Larsen's equipment and staff under the MET banner, with some of the equipment also going to the company's new bindery and fulfillment facility across the street from the main plant.

“This also serves to reduce our carbon footprint with less demand for couriers and transporting goods between trades,” added Nikos Kallas, MET president. “We see the changing face of print communications and in order to grow our relationships we must recognize what our clients are asking for and act accordingly.”

MET Fine Printers is a family-owned and professionally managed carbon neutral business in Vancouver, BC. MET Resource is a web-based print management division providing brand fulfillment and custom web based production.
